All stones have the same dimensions of:

210 mm x 75 mm x 10 mm

These stones are forged of non-porous ceramics and are a great balance of finish and speed of cut. Feels smooth with a subtle bite.

The Stone Stage holder makes use of two staging posts that firmly secure the stone to the stage for unmoving rigidity. The posts easily release the stone for quick change.

70 Micron Ceramic Stone (200 grit range)

-This is a chip remover and edge thinning tool.  It can easily cut through tough steels and retain its shape consistently.  Currently our best seller. Work this stone hard or easy and it will respond just as expected removing metal fast or with a very consistent scratch pattern. Pro knife sharpeners' "Best Friend!"

35 Micron Ceramic Stone (400 grit range)

-A great touch up tool for stainless steel knives.  Our 35 micron sharpening stone is resilient and still has bite and feel. Woodworkers' favorite.

15 Micron Ceramic Stone (1000 grit range)

-There are many choices for customers looking for a 1000 grit sharpening stone. Why should you buy this stone? Because its fabulous medium grit abrasive that is uniform from day one to the last thin layer. Like all Nano Hone stones its micron size accurate. And, it's really fun to use.  Hap has worked on this stone more than any other abrasive we offer and it shows in every detail.

6 Micron Ceramic Stone (3000 grit range)

-This stone puts on a razor sharp edge.  Many chefs will stop right here.  The ultimate serviceable edge.

2 Micron Ceramic Stone (6000 grit range)

- This is our most popular polisher.  This abrasive brings a beautiful polish to high carbon steel in short order. Not too soft and not too hard. Just right!

1 Micron Ceramic Stone (10K grit range)

-Did anyone say "Mirror Polisher?" At 1/100 of the thickness of a human hair, this is a very fine abrasive. 

0.5 Micron Ceramic Stone (30K grit range)

-This is one of the finest ceramic abrasives manufactured by any company in the world. We developed this stone for straight razor sharpening and deep mirror polishing

I am continuously amazed by the quality of these products. Compared to my Naniwa and DMT stones, these are on another plane in every way.

Cutting speed is excellent without sacrificing polish or dishing too quickly. They flatten quickly, set up quickly, and produce an outstanding edge and finish much faster than I am used to, even on my harder knives.

Well made and well thought out products are a joy to use and what I have purchased from Nano Hone are outstanding. I am in love with them and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The price seemed high at first but after using them I would have paid more. I regret waiting as long as I did.

Service from Hap and the others at Nano Hone has been Stellar. Hap answered my questions personally and was generous with his time. Think of the way business used to be before the internet and that is how they do it here. It's a rare thing to find a company like this today.

I will be a customer for life, no need to look elsewhere. In the near future I will be purchasing more products for my woodworking shop.

Fantastic Stone!

Just got my first Nano Hone stone and absolutely love it. We use the 6 mic ceramic stone for the ride line on the inside of beauty shears. We're getting better results than ever, and it looks like the stone will last many years. Highly recommend for professional sharpeners.

Great stones, for many skill levels.

Having been sharpening knives and razors for 18 years as a hobbyist and for friends and family. These stones are quite amazing. There are stones on the market that are harder or more forgiving to newcomers or materials like diamond plates that are good at the task they are intended for, removing metal quickly. These stones continually grow on me and the thought and attention to detail and the intentionality is quite evident. This stone is quite fast to create a light slurry, the particle size are extremely consistent, and they seem to have a bit more polishing agents to stones of equal grit of other brands. They are slightly softer than I am used to, this is not a negative, just a noted observation. However, these stones do a great job at 2 things, abrading away the metal and offering a good polish. It really hits good marks on the 2 things chased in hand-sharpening. Great work Hap, I'll definitely be coming back for more products to try.

0.5 um (30K) enables infinity edges in seconds!

Splash some water and let your inner sharpening zen go to work. Initially refined some M390 previously worked with the 1 um Nano Hone rasp at 30°. It was already hair whittling sharp but a few passes on the 0.5 um plate has taken the edge to new levels with so little effort. Next refined a 40° edge on a gen III Troodon to a beautiful finish in a few passes. How many auto daggers would you shave your face with? 😊
